A Great Lesson In Geopolitics
I’m currently reading a book by think tanker George Friedman called The Next 100 Years: A Forecast for the 21st Century
. The author tries to predict what will happen in the 21st century from a geopolitical perspective. Most of the predictions won’t happen but the great part is, in teaching you what will happen he must teach you what has happened and how things work geopolitically. It’s fascinating.
Also, in contrast to every book I’ve read recently which predicts America is a few years/months away from total demise, Friedman believes America will be an even stronger superpower in the coming century. We have the infrastructure , the geographical advantage, and most importantly, an incredibly powerful Navy.
